Designed to improve impulse sales and preserve food efficiently, this True THAC-60 Horizontal Air Curtain provides colder product temperatures and reduces operation costs. Ideal for displaying food and beverages, the merchandiser boasts an attractive look that would even improve the aesthetics of a food service setup. Using the environmentally-friendly CFC-free 134A refrigerant, the factory-engineered, self-contained, capillary tube refrigeration system maintains temperatures from 35°F to 40°F. A time-initiated and time-terminated off-cycle defrost system helps create ideal storage conditions. The extra-large evaporator is coil balanced with a high horsepower compressor and large condenser. It has sealed, cast-iron, self-lubricated evaporator fan motors have large fan blades that give a more efficient performance, and offer a low velocity, high volume airflow. This helps ensure faster temperature recovery in high demand conditions.
Users can access the condensing unit from the front of the cabinet that slides out easily, making maintenance work easier. THAC-60 has exclusive reversing condenser fan motors that reverse during defrost off-cycle to help keep the condenser coil free from dirt, debris, dust. This helps in keeping the coil clean to optimize the performance of the merchandiser. The entire cabinet is made of non-peel or chip white powder-coated steel. The interior has an attractive, NSF approved white aluminum liner and a stainless steel floor. Foamed-in-place, the entire cabinet uses the environmentally-friendly Ecomate, high-density, polyurethane insulation.
This merchandiser is fitted with three (3) shelves with level tiered stainless steel floor. Listed under NSF-7, the merchandiser is suitable for storage and display of packaged and bottled items. Utilizing electronic ballast and T-8 bulbs, the fluorescent interior lighting offers brighter illumination than other merchandisers. A safety shield is provided on the lighting to prevent it from vapors. The unit requires a 120V electrical connection to function effectively.
