The True TMC-49-DS milk cooler is designed to meet the demands of school cafeterias and lunchrooms, accommodating 12 standard milk crates for a medium-to-high volume of milk supply. Equipped with both a drop-front door and a flip-up top door on each side, the unit provides dual access, and all doors come standard with locks to ensure unauthorized access prevention. The exterior is constructed from white powder-coated, cold-rolled steel to resist peeling and chipping, while the interior features a clear-coated aluminum liner with a reinforced stainless steel floor. Foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation effectively retains cool air within the cabinet.
Maintaining contents within the selected temperature range of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, the milk cooler utilizes a self-contained capillary tube system for consistent forced-air refrigeration, employing R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors contribute to reduced heat production and energy conservation. To enhance the unit’s lifespan, the condensing fan motor directs air in a reverse direction when the compressor activates, effectively removing debris buildup on the condensing coil. This mechanism, when combined with preventive maintenance, supports improved operation, ensuring efficient cooling and reduced energy consumption.
Maintenance is facilitated by the accessibility of the condensing unit, which slides out from behind the back grill, while the epoxy-coated evaporator resists corrosion for increased durability. The structured design, coupled with regular cleaning of the condensing coil’s surface, enhances overall unit performance, ensuring the effective cooling of products and promoting energy efficiency.
